Additional Information
How much does therapy cost?
Our rates for appointments with a licensed master's level clinician:
$190 for an initial (intake) session ($125 for prompt self-pay)
$165 for a 60-minute session ($125 for prompt self-pay)
$120 for a 45-minute session
$90 for a 30-minute session

We have some additional fees in the event that we have difficulty collecting payment:
Payment Collection Fee: $25 (applies to invoices unsuccessfully charged to a card on file)
Invoice Aging Fee: $50 per invoice for balances aging over 60 days

Most health insurance plans cover all or part of mental health counseling (see below) and you may be able to get therapy either for free or just the cost of your copay. A one-hour session includes roughly 5 to 7 minutes of recordkeeping and setting up your next appointment. If you are working with a limited budget, please let us know at your intake session and we will tailor your treatment plan to fit the number of sessions your budget allows. While time-limited therapy isn't always able to resolve every issue, we understand that cost is often an important factor and we are happy to provide you with therapy within your budget whenever possible.
Do you accept insurance?
For individual counseling, we currently participate in insurance plans with the following insurers:
Aetna
Capital Blue Cross
Geisinger
Highmark Blue Shield
Medicare
Optum/United Healthcare
Quest Behavioral Health
UPMC

We are not able to accept Medicaid insurance plans, including those offered by the above companies (e.g. Highmark Wholecare, UPMC For You).

For couples or family counseling, we are not able to bill insurance, as we do not provide a medical diagnosis. These services are self-pay only and are billed at our standard rates.

For other plans, you may be able to submit our bill for out-of-network reimbursement. Let us know if you plan to do this so we can provide you with an appropriate invoice following your session.

We encourage you to call the number on the back of your insurance card to verify your coverage for services with our practice and inquire about your responsibility to pay.
Where are you located?
Our newly renovated main office is located in Lebanon, PA at 1718 Grace Avenue (17046). In addition, we can meet with anyone in Pennsylvania from the comfort of their own home through teletherapy.
What is your cancellation policy?
We request that you let us know a full day in advance when you need to cancel an appointment. Your therapist will try to accommodate a reschedule for the same week, but that is not always possible and is not guaranteed. For late cancellations (within 24 hours) that are not able to be rescheduled within the same week, we have a $50 fee. Since our therapists are independent contractors that are only paid for completed appointments, this fee will provide them with partial income for your therapist and will also serve as a holdover fee to maintain your spot in our schedule until your next appointment. Repeated late cancellations or no-shows will be subject to a fee of $90.
What is your availability?
IF YOU PLAN TO USE INSURANCE: Please note that evening appointments are extremely limited and these times fill up very quickly. We do not currently keep a waitlist, but you are welcome to contact us periodically to check on evening availability.
FOR SELF-PAY CLIENTS: If you are an individual seeking counseling and are willing to self-pay, or if you are seeking couples or family counseling (which is always self-pay only), then evening appointments are available. The increase in availability is because some of our licensed therapists are not credentialed with insurances and only see self-pay clients, which increases the pool of therapists available to treat you, many of whom have evening availability. Feel free to contact us with any questions.
